I also like the Last Crusade - the chemistry of Ford and Connery was brilliant.
The scene with the wingless aircraft passing their car in the tunnel was hilarious.

Did anyone see the programme last night about the real Indiana Jones on C5?

There is a good feature in next month's Empire about the Indiana Jones films, including a "diary" about the new film with interviews with Spielberg,Lucas,Cate Blanchett,John Williams,Vic Armstrong and others who had worked with the films. A good read.

Can Clint still hold up the 44 Magnum? I can imagine him shooting one shot off (from the gun) and breaking his wrist (from the recoil).

No more Clint....do what you do so excellently now, direct.

I don't think I will be watching this one if it's ever made.

Default The art of timing - knowing when to finish

Not sacrilege - just common sense!
This silly fashion for digging up action legends for one last hurrah is stretching things beyond our natural patience. Die Hard, Rambo, Rocky, Indiana Jones etc - the list goes on. People will only watch because they enjoyed the earlier instalments in the series - not because the movie can stand on it's own merits. I would have no intention of watching a geriatric version of Dirty Harry. At this stage the only dirty thing about him would be his soiled diaper!
This blatant commercialism can only take away from the legacy of the original by diluting its' appeal. The original Jaws would have been better seen as a one off ; the increasingly ludicrous sequels just took away from the original...
It just gets embarrasing. Is there anything our studios and actors won't do for money?

Agree with your sentiments.
Was said with a large hint of tongue in cheek.
Not sure whether Clint needs to do it for the money, but frankly I am surprised he's agreed to do it.
I will be watching Indiana Jones though.
