Default Alan Titchmarsh on Radio 2.
I've been listening to Alan Titchmarsh on Sunday evenings on Radio 2 (18:30 - 20:30) and have been pleasantly surprised at the choice of music he plays.

He has taken over this slot from the late Sheridan Morley.

Not a fan of Alan Titchmarsh but it is good to know he carrying the on the good work of Sheridan Morley.

I always liked Sheridan Morley's show, and Alan Titchmarsh wouldn't have been my choice for his sucessor, but having said that I think he's done well and I enjoy the music he plays.

Radio 2 as well now?
Is there no end to this bloody one-man Panzer divsion.
I wonder what he's like reading the news..............no doubt we'll be finding out soon enough.

I was also more than a little surprised when Titchmarsh took over this slot when Sheridan Morley passed away. At least the executives didn't plump for Johnnie Walker - I simply can not stand him.

I like him, I think he's good and comes over very well. One of the the better presenters around today IMHO.
