Default zombies and yardbirds

Anyone seen The Zombies and The Yardbirds on their current tour, caught it inCardiff. Good show, The Yardbirds were excellent and so were The Zombies.

I have seen Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone touring as The Zombies a couple of times previously in a small local venue when its just been them.

According to Colin Blunstones website there has been some confusion about the current tour as fans have been expecting to see some former members of the band appear but apperently its the normal touring lineup of Don Airey and Jim Rodford and his son.

Nothing wrong with that of course they are brilliant!

My Mrs was disapointed that Colin didnt peform Tim Hardins "Misty Roses" on this tour a personal favourite.

Definitely should be a good night I saw the Manfreds a few years back, excellent.

These sixties revival package shows are always of a high standard and in most cases the acts have worn well.

Yeah! Theres Paul Jones, Mike Hugg & Tom Mcguiness from the original

Manfred Mann. I,m not sure whose in Spencer's line up, but last year he had

Miller Anderson with him ( I missed that one). Cant wait! A couple of years ago

a mate saw PJ Proby in concert over here, he said he was the best singer he'd

ever seen. The old 60's performers are so professional & polished!

I saw P.J. Proby in Cardiff last year. He was doing a Johnny Cash tribute actually appearing as Cash in the first act and then as himslelf.

Still in good voice, which is very pleasing given his history of personal problems, great to see him still in thebusiness.

I will be seeing 'The Moody Blues' in Cardiff in September.
Although they originated in the 60's they are nor a 60's act per se as they perform their music from across the decades up to 2005.
A class act

I took some patients to see that show a few years ago .... it had Peter Noone on the bill instead of Gerry and the Pacemakers. Noone hadn't changed at all but it looked like Dave Berry was the one who need the pacemaker!

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.
