*****I thought I might as well start this up, but if it is unsuitable for the forum because it contains US actresses then theres no problem if it is deleted.

Hey guys, I'm in love. There's another American actress that I've just come across: Ann Miller. Shes got that WOW factor all over her. If you liked Ava Gardner and Cyd Charisse, this lookalike-type actress will get your pulse racing, among other things!!

Hooray for classic movies!!

Ann Miller is featured in 'Sexiest Actresses' and in the one of the 'Best Musical' or 'Best Song' threads there are some youtube clips ... I know, I put them there!

Louis B Mayer was obsessed with her. It was not mutual.

Gene Tierney is the top of the list for me among the homegrown women. Grace Kelly is #2.

Veronica Lake is also one of my favourites as an actress and also as an icon of what Hollywood's Golden Age girls looked like. She is one of the most beautiful people that I have ever seen and for that, I have begun to look for more of her films. I already have This Gun for Hire and The Glass Key, which I've enjoyed immensely.

Her voice in This Gun for Hire, when she sings the song in the club is out of this world. I had to watch it a further 3 times before continuing with the movie!

And those legs!!......I died and gone to Heaven!!
