Of course, the trouble is you never know whether a boxset is coming out til the very end and with some series that takes years

Basically there are a number of unknown actors, excepting Leslie Grantham impersonating Arthur lowe,Clive Dunn etc in their roles. They have just joined 4 episodes together withs ome linking material. There is Dodfrey admitting to being a concientious objector.Jones and the 4 Feathers, women joining the Home guards. The trouble is that if ,as most of the audience did, remember the originals then there is little novely value.I thought it wa sgoing to be a show similar to the origainl which i did see.If i had known what it actually was i probably would not have forked out £16.

Dads Army: Complete Series & Specials: 14dvd: Box Set

That link appears broken - it took me to a web-page for "Buy at"

Anyone have a link to a store for this that would ship to USA - don't care about the region code, my player is region free.

    Thanks

    David,

Don't panic!! DVD.co.uk, Amazon.co.uk, and Movie Mail all currently offer the set, and with fairly reasonable UK-to-US shipping costs. (And don't forget, there's also a bit knocked off with not having to pay VAT, at least at DVD.co.uk and Amazon.) It's a little more expensive than the Asda in-store mentioned, but worth every pound, I assure you! And you might as well also grab a copy of Dad's Army: The Movie while you're at it, since it's the only thing not included with the set, and is going for about £4 or £5 at each site. Enjoy!
