I like the idea of the Ronnie Barker ... would I ever actually watch it? I've never seen the Magnificent Evans - I can't believe it's as poor as some have said ... ?



And why didn't they bring the offer price of Merlin down by ONE penny, so that they could say "Save 10 pounds!" instead of "save over 9 pounds!"????

I've got that Ronnie Barker set and I hadn't seen TME either. I thought it was a good series. Admittedly not as good as some of his others but Barker sets the bar so high that even his worst stuff is still damn good.



£31 for Open All Hours, Porridge, and Going Straight is a bargain in itself but throw in Seven of One and the wonderful Clarence and it becomes almost an essential buy.

Thanks Harbottle - it really irks me that it was the only episode that didn't make the BBC's previous release of the Hancock series! It's almost as if the BBC despise those who supported all the individual releases when they came out ...
