That's a lot of man-boobage for the price!![]()
It's a pity this one isn't in the set ......
Not even Shakespeare could make Coriolanus and his 'adventures' vaguely interesting, let alone exciting ..... but then he didn't have Gordon Scott as his 'hero'.
I'd be interested to know what the visual and sound quality are like. I've bought some 50-pack films in order to get a few rare titles and it's been a bit of a hit and miss job.
Hit and miss with this one as well I expect. The English language versions of peplums are generally not that great (unless you want to spend about £20 on a multi-language track European release) so these will probably follow that trend. I have some of the titles already and most of them are about 7 or 8/10 for quality.

" If she says your behavior is heinous Kick her right in the "Coriolanus."
Good grief, have you seen the 100 Horror Classics set from the same distribution company? 150+ hours on 24 discs for under £20you can't say fairer than that.
Poppy.
But don't expect any film restorations on these sets !
Sometimes, to get a last pay day from their lower quality prints, budget labels bring out this type of box set prior to bona fide studio releases of restored versions. It happened with the Universal Horrors, the Universal Holmes series and to quite a lot of spaghetti westerns. Either way .... 50 films for under £15 is still a bargain!
It also include Sir Rog in this 'epic' ..... produced as an adventure film, promoted as a 'comedy' .....
It was while making that film that Sir Rog met his ex wife Luisa!
Reviews for these packs often say that the quality is bad (not just scratched and jumpy, which is fine, but out of focus or inaudible). How are you finding the quality in your pack? (Before I spend ten pounds on fifty films, I want to be sure it's a bargain).
I haven't received mine yet, but I have several peplum DVDs from Mill Creek (who are the company involved) already, all of which are in this pack, so presumably they are using the same source material. Most of them are about 7/10 or 8/10 for quality with a couple of them being probably a 9/10. They are all very watchable, none of them are out of focus and the soundtracks are pretty clear. They are, however, as you say, they are jumpy and scratchy in places.

I just received my set and have had a look at some of the films. As expected the quality is hit and miss, ranging from 7/10 to 9/10, but £13 for over 74 hours of peplum action it's still an absolute steal. I am very happy to have it in my collection.
