Default Powell & Pressburger 3 Disc Set
I spotted at my local Macro (it's a discount wholesale store, for those who don't have one nearby) a Powell & Pressburger triple disc set at only £9.99 + VAT. If my maths is up to speed that comes out at £11.74.

The three discs are available seperately, being the Carlton releases of Matter of Life & Death, Life and Death of Colonel blimp and I Know where I'm Going. Still, for someone like me who has never really pursued a interest in P&P before, this is booming good value, and could be the start of a major obsession

Yep! It's certainly good value and if it starts you down the road of enjoying P&P - great! I don't suppose you'd get many extras on those discs, but don't worry about that, all you need to do is check out Steve's site! Regards, Decks.

Colonel Blimp is the restored version, featuring a making of documentary and a stills gallery, while Life and Death has a documentary about Jack Cardiff. Nowt on the third disc, but I think I̢۪ll forgive them, as it̢۪s good news that a British film of that era can make it onto DVD at all.
