Default Minder at HMV

Noticed that some HMV stores have reduced some Minder series sets from £25 to £12 each. Seems to be mainly the early series (1-4) so far.

Thanks for the info Glen, I didn't really take much to Minder myself but I recall it was popular, I wouldn't mind seeing the episode with Vanda Godsell in it which seems to be her last acting role, where she played the role of 'Queenie' so I may end up buying it after all!

I purchased the entire Minder series 1-10, including 3 special DVD's, for £150 at HMV.

If I was looking to buy Minder on DVD these days, I'd go for the Australian sets from Umbrella. Not only is the picture quality slightly better than the UK releases, they have many more exclusive extras (commentaries etc) on them too.

The stores are a bit hit and miss - the one in London's Oxford Street has reduced some but the one in Cardiff has them all at full price.

Yes, absolutely. Don't waste your money on those shitty UK Clearvision sets. The Umbrella sets are great and well worth importing.
