Well that's good news and bad news for me : I only bought Zodiac a few weeks ago at the full price but the Mind Of Mr Reeder at that price is more than tempting

Mystery & Imagination for £17.50. Now I'm really pissed that my clients are not paying their invoices. I'd have whipped that up! Hopefully it'll still be there in a few days, or perhaps Play, Amazon etc will adjust their prices accordingly.

I bought Zodiac and The Jensen Code at full price about a month ago too!

Still, have just ordered Mystery & Imagination, Sky and King of the Castle.
Just need to get snowed in now for an opportunity to watch it all...

Yay. I dropped a massive hint in the direction of my mother, and she just purchased Mystery & Imagination for me for my upcoming birthday! I love moms.

Is there a cashflow problem at Network? This is hot on the heels of their January sale...curious.

I was going to say the same about Zodiac! I don't know, really ... you wait and wait for it to come out; when was that? four weeks ago? You pay full price then they laugh at you! LAUGH AT YOU!!! I think it was 16.99 actually, and absolutely thrilled my sister at Christmas, so I'll try not to let it bother me.

"Escape into Night" at 6.50? ... hmmmm ... If I wait 4 weeks will it be 3 quid? If I wait 6 months will Network pay me to take it off them?

I have just ordered the complete series of Whiplash (1960) in the sale, as it's listed at half price, which is a big saving. I'd never ordered anything directly from the Network site before, but I managed to create an account with them and buy the set.

Nobody ends like they started out.

Well, I've just splashed on two more sets, each at less than half the normal price, which is a bargain...even though my credit card bill due for payment at the end of February will be somewhat big: Craig Stevens in Man of the World and the Mystery and Imagination set, which I've bought specially for the episode The Fall of the House of Usher, starring David Buck and Susannah York, which I haven't seen since it was first transmitted in February, 1966...an incredible forty-four years ago!

Incidentally, is there anyone here who is a Network customer from the UK? If so, as the above are my first three orders with the company, could you tell me how long on average do the DVD's take to arrive after you've ordered them? And do they send them by Royal Mail or some other courier?

Nobody ends like they started out.

I am a Network UK customer, darrenburnfan. I haven't bought anything from them since before the last postal strike, but unless they've changed their arrangements as a result of that, they use Royal Mail and you can usually expect to receive the goods within a fortnight.
I bought the MYSTERY AND IMAGINATION set when it first came out (at full price ) and in my opinion, "The Fall of the House of Usher" is the best production on it.

Thanks for the info, Gerald. I think that the reason that The Fall of the House of Usher is the best one in the set, is that it's from the first series made by ABC Television and that first series had some great episodes. One I remember particularly well was The Tractate Middoth, which unfortunately, has been lost and will never be seen again.

Nobody ends like they started out.

I'm also a regular customer, recently ordered £200s worth to get 50% off!!!

The prisoner BluRay for £16.00 and various other sets. Package arrived within 48hours via City Link - order was fulfilled by Sony ADAC? based in Enfield.

Also bought Due South Complete for about £40 - on examination found set to case to be damaged = emailed them - reply within 2hours - they provided a Freepost Enfield Address for the return - received a replacement set following day before i'd even returned faulty set.

First Class customer service

Thanks, Ian. At that rate, with my ordering the first set yesterday and the other two sets today, they should all be here by Thursday. However, the last time I ordered something that was delivered by City Link, a printer from amazon uk, it's a good job I was looking out of the window when the van arrived in the street, as he was trying to deliver it to the block of flats opposite. I shouted down to him and he brought it to me. If I hadn't been looking out of the window at the time, he would have taken that back to the depot. With Royal Mail, at least I have a regular postman who knows where I live.

The three titles I ordered from Network were delivered by DHL this time (a diversion from the usual Royal Mail). I ordered them on Friday and DHL left a card on Tuesday. Finally got them last night after aimlessly wandering around an industrial estate looking for DHL HQ and ending up in the DHL staff room!
