Woolworths currently has The Belles of St. Trinian's on offer for £4.97.



Some branches might still have Tommy for £2.97 and Elizabeth (C4 production, starring Helen Mirren) for £5.97.



To fight dropping media sales, Woolworths has introduced a new and continously changing "offers" section (not part of their usual sales sections) which usually holds at least one ot two worthwhile titles.

That's interesting, I will check it out. Belles is usually sold as part of a set, and the others IMHO are not worth purchasing.

Amazon sells The Belles ... on its own for £9.98 - with a price like that it's almost worth getting the whole set. The fiver, though, was a good investment as it made an annoyingly rainy afternoon much more bearable and will doubtlessly do the same with many rainy afternoons yet to come.
