I can't recommend Gideon's Way highly enough, especially at that price. It's an absolute must. Also available, all four series of The Sweeney at £10 per series.

I think that listing is wrong - the 1973 series (and 1974) was the one with Patrick Mower. The cover they're showing should be for the 1969 series. They're all £10 though but you might want to check if you're ordering this.

Cheers mariocki ... I just checked and you are right. I haven't seen much of the 1969 series, but with Mr Nesbitt on board it should be good!

I bought the 73 & & 74 series and thought that the Nesbitt episode used as part of the extras was actually better.

Have that and very good it is too. I was hoping the Thriller boxset might appear at a knockdown price but no such luck.

I had the same thought, wish I'd got it when it was £30 at Amazon a few months back.

It's £39 at Sendit which is tempting; a tad lower and I'd bite.

Our local ASDA had Thriller at £19.99 a while ago. I didn't have enough cash on me so I rushed to the hole in the the wall to check my balance (it was near payday). Went I went back some bugger had bought it! I asked if they had anymore and the assistant said they'd only had the one which had been sent by mistake, so they were selling it cheap to get rid of it.

Big Breadwinner Hog is superb. You also get the complete series of Spindoe with it plus some great extras. Buy it now!

    "Big Breadwinner Hog" (1969)

    "Spindoe" (1967)

I also just ordered the 1975 series of Public Eye from Network.
