The Baron has great intro music.
Bought both of these in the HMV sale The Baron £25 & The Adventurer £15
Shame about the picture quilty (Tha Adventurer being the worst of the two)
But you cant have everything i spose
(Booklet was also missing from The Adventurer Box)
The Baron has great intro music.
Dr Pepper, I also bought 'The Adventurer' and can tell you that no booklet was included. On that subject I'm not very pleased about The Sweeney boxset being re-issued WITH a booklet (+ the two films) when my copy is without. I think 'Thriller' deserves one too.
As The Sweeney i too bought them when they first came out so was very upset to see them reissued with the movies and in smaller boxes and now you tell me a booklet too
The title music for The Baron is one of the best themes tunes ever made together with The Persauders IMHO![]()
I got a booklet in my Adventurer set.
It says on the back of the DVD that there is one but its not inside so not sure if i should contact Network about it

I would go back to HMV first .... but if you get no luck there I would contact Network, their customer service dept seems pretty good. I had trouble with a Public Eye disc and got an instant replacement.![]()
I bought The Baron Boxed set and the picture quality was good.

Going back to the booklet issue, I watched the Follyfoot episode 'Moonstone' earlier, with it's notoriously inferior picture quality, and again struggled to read the details enclosed inside the case. The area where the discs are obscures the plot summaries, which I sometimes need to read to make sense of the story. There are other DVDs I have with this problem - 'Danger UXB' and 'The Adventurer' itself included. What should I do about this? Complain to Network, who've served me so well otherwise?
Im having trouble reading the booklet for The Baron as the writing is so small and is in white type face on a light blue background
Going back to Cordelia i would too ;o)
I also had problems re a booklet and went back to Network who offered no help whatsoever. They merely referred me to the retailer from whom I had purchased the DVD.
However if I had bought it from the Network shop they might well have been more responsive.
When I bought the Network reissue of Randall and Hopkirk Deceased (from Play.com), which was packaged into a smaller box minus the two booklets which were included in the original box set, I contacted Network and the booklets arrived in the post 2 days later....I was very impressed.
This was the email address I used to contact Network:
pradmin@networkdvd.co.uk
The repackaged versions of these sets don't include the booklet. However, because they've used the same artwork for the back of the boxes as the original issues, it says that one is included when it shouldn't be. As previously mentioned, some have managed to obtain one by contacting Network but it seems to be a bit hit & miss but it's worth a go. The Baron can currently be obtained for £17:97 from Tesco, link in the Network thread.
