does anybody on the forum have any influence with network?
i'd like to see a release of 'orson welles great mysteries' and a UK release of the entire 'shades of darkness' series.
My Network post-Christmas box arrived yesterday. Four volumes of 'Strangers', 'World in Action' 2 disc set and 'Pipkins Volume 3' (you can't rush growing up!) - not a single rattler among them. Just need to find the time to watch it all now...
name='davidb']i think i might treat myself to the randall and hopkirk dvd boxset ,i didnt realise there was so many extras on it . also kinvig and tiswas and the tube ......
theyve just arrived nowa bit of a slow delivery but well timed cos my work has just cancelled so i can stay in and start watching them
well done network

my tube dvd is rattling ,why dont the manufacturers put a bit of bubblewrap in there to hold the dvd still ?

Because it's 40% off. That's 40% less bubble wrap

Has anyone clicked on the scrolling black and white bars top right on Networks web site you get an interesting advert from old![]()
Yes, I saw the new one last night. Last week's one featured Hughie Green.
I ordered quite a few of the 40% off DVDs from Network a month ago (the 17th) but still haven't received anything. I'm sure there was an "allow 28 days for delivery" message but it's already past that so do I have cause to worry or have others had to wait a long time as well? This is the first time I've bought from Network as some of what they have is both cheaper and more accessible than at Amazon.
They were inundated with orders and couldn't cope with demand and are only now starting to catch up it seems. You can check your order status in your account on the site or you can phone them on :

or e-mail on shop@networkdvd.net

Thanks very much for letting me know, Mariocki. I did 'phone that number earlier but got some recorded message and backed out (I hate those things). I didn't bother e-mailing either though perhaps I should. I'll leave it a few more days.
Thanks for making me feel a bit more positive, and good luck to everyone else who's waiting (and worrying) like me.
