I have the dvd but I'll buy the SE just for the extras. Just wonderful!
New exclusive interview with Sir Michael Caine
• New exclusive interview with production designer Sir Ken Adam
• Commentary with director Sidney Furie and film editor Peter Hunt
• The Ipcress File - Michael Caine Goes Stella - exclusive new comedy sketch starring Phil Cornwell
• 1969 documentary Candid Caine, featuring Sir Michael Caine talking frankly about his career
There's also the brilliant soundtrack by John Barry. This is unbelievable! We've had a very sad month with all these deaths and I think we're due some good news - it doesn't get better than this. And a stills gallery as well! "Deep joy" as Professor Stanley Unwin used to say.
You know The Ipcress File has nothing to do with the boxset described in the thread, don't you?! From that unexciting list I'd choose An Affair To Remember.
Indeed Deep Joy! The extras are what make me buy duplicates and happily, and I especially like interviews, in this case with Adam and -two- with Michael Caine as well as the commentary.name='cornershop15']There's also the brilliant soundtrack by John Barry. A smile at "unexciting list." I was hoping for titles I don't have although I'm not familiar with "Confetti."

I'm sure Michael's fans will now be hoping for the same with Alfie, The Italian Job and Get Carter, surely his other most popular films.
One thing I noticed in Network's description - this was added to their catalogue in 2007. Does this mean Batman was the first one here to notice?
Well I've had it since 2007 and very, very nice it is too (though the transfer on the new extras free Blu-ray disc is superior).

How funny! I assumed it just came out. Well, better late than never, and I'm still delighted and will buy it. I don't have a Blu-ray disc player, but I hope Blu-ray sticks around long enough for me to buy one.
All the best,
Barbara
They are promoting it because of the drop in price. It is too good a bargain not to pass on the info.

Thanks for that, Batman. I checked other online sellers, and the Network special price is by far the lowest. I ordered it and a few other bargains.
