Taxi Driver
Raging Bull
Goodfellas
The Departed
Mean Streets was good but not great
I loved the cinematography on The age of Innocence, but again a decent movie rather than great
I thought Casino was decent but I kept comparing it to Goodfellas as it was so soon after and the first person narrative on top of Casino was irritating ( to me)
I thought Gangs of New York was kind of silly and cartoonish
The Aviator was decent but I think the story of Howard Hughes could have ( should have) been so much more absorbing than it was, much like George Melies' story should have been in Hugo!.
I also liked Shutter Island, the problem was I guessed the twist about 20 minutes in, which kind of spoiled it for me a bit.. It seemed way too obvious that soon into the movie.
That's only four, but I haven't seen all his movies. I'm sure there's another great one out there I haven't seen?!
