This one is a run-by from 'Lawson's Last Stand' and is a country lane with a double chevron sign pointing both ways? Filming was around Batford (Lower Luton Road), Harpenden; North Mymms Park; and Aldenham House School, Butterfly Lane, Elstree for the country locations but I can't find any of the country lanes to match.
From 'The Acorn Syndrome' a car run-by that should be in Elstree/Borehamwood (Barham Road was a main location) areas but once again I can't find this type of house around here:
From 'Dead Reckoning' - this one should be easy as part of it was filmed along Chandos Avenue, Whetstone; but the shots below go past a series of shops past two side roads - one is blocked off and the other has a sharp turn going up hill. Sadly can't read the road sign.
And in 'Slush Fund'; is this Heathrow Airport from 1979?

'Slush fund', I think it may be Luton airport.
A suggestion for 'blocked off road' is Welbeck road in East Barnet, very similar layout.
A bit difficult to gauge the exact layout from a still but have you discounted Tollgate Road/Bullens Green Lane for Lawson? Deflection arrows in both directions there (including a double sided one) plus a farm entrance as well.
Thanks 'Mark O'.....Wellback Road is indeed correct; the car is travelling along East Barnet Road (the other side road is Middle Lane). I'm trying to get my head around the airport one; Luton is a possible; need some old pics to match it up with as its all changed now. 'Mariocki'; good suggestion, and I've double checked here, and its not quite right - as you say, hard from a 'still' image to ask for help though on something like this.
Quick update on these; found the Red Cortina which is in Pinewood Green; near Pinewood Studios.
And after much investigation the Airport isn't Luton (must be Heathrow?), so still need that one and the 'Chevron' lane. Any further ideas are welcome.....
Mark O - it is indeed the old terminal at Stansted - nice one, thanks.....Would never have believed it had it not been for so many matches....Heathrow was scheduled; but obviously something went wrong.
Not related to what you asked, but I remember when I was a boy they filmed some scenes in Maidenhead. The old cinema was across the road from where they filmed and they used it for the TV vehicles. They made up an empty shop to look like a restaurant called the Fratoria Rosette. They had a table with some plastic chairs and a couple of palm trees for "Bodie & Doyle" to sit on in between takes. I loved watching them smash all the windows to make the mess. They took a couple of hours to film something that was in the show for about 2 minutes. I also got Gordon Jacksons autograph. He was a nice guy and obliged everyone. The other two didn't!
The filming was in Bridge Ave near to the junction with the High St next to what is now KFC. In case anyone is interested.

Thanks for the reply; good to hear these little bits of info...The actual restaurant was not far away and was called 'Michel et Valerie' and was frequented at the time by the location guy hence its use. The unit for the explosion was empty at the time.
I'd like to include your quote in my next book update, so was wondering if you can recall any more info.
I'll also need your name to credit you with the quote.....tried to 'PM' you but you have the function for Private Messages disabled. Drop me a 'PM' if you can.
Cheers.
