Yup, you naughty boy, looking up Edward Chapman on imdb!

Just coming back to the snooker cue - it was Alastair Sim who was playing snooker with it when he and Inspector Hornleigh get called to the police station. No mention was made of it at all and the sergeant finished up with it at the end of the scene.
It just tickled me the way it was carried out with no fuss, and smacked of AS's humour - I bet it wasn't in the script!

Yes, but pipped by one minute. Clearly dpgmel was quicker on the draw to the imdb!

A poor Instamatic snap that was mixed up with your wallet of holiday photos you picked up from Boots 20 years ago, and you're still trying to find out who it belongs to.

This looks distinctly American, but maybe it's because I cannot get The Poltergeist out of my head.

Well, I'm clutching at straws here:

The man in the uniform looks like it could be John Le Mez, and the scene is similar to one from Mr Denning Drives North, but I know it is not that as I seem to remember that it was a concrete post that was broken on the side of the road - not a wooden fence.

    'Scuse for rambling!
