    Hi,
I am looking forward to it. My sadness is that Radio Luxembourg did fade out. I think had it not been for this reception problem, it would have been a greater rival to the BBC. I sometimes heard other versions of records. And before it did go more for the disc jockey programmes, I well remember adventure broadcasts with Dan Dare, Hopalong Cassidy, Oson Welles with stories from the Black Museum, and a series with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

Alan, if you go to my website, on the 'sounds' page you'll hear parts of Hopalong Cassidy, Black Museum and of course Humphrey and Lauren in 'BOLD VENTURE'

    Hi,
Very interesting series. Radio Luxembourg must have had something; to have had people tuning in and tolerating the annoying fade outs at inconvenient moments. Pity their frquency did this. Excellent radio station.

Radio Luxembourg; I offer you a belated thank you. Gone but not forgotten.

I used to love listening to 208 when I was young, I think it finished about 3 am and why did it play the American national anthem. And I think old bing sang " at the end of the day"
