Well, let's kickstart the discussion with The Music Box though I doubt it's exactly what you want...
Hi folks,
I'm looking for some footage, preferrably of the silent/black and white era, of an organ or piano falling either off a cliff, or from a building, or even just from the sky....
If anyone can help me, I'd be extremely grateful!!
Thanks

Didn't this happen in the Laurel and Hardy film Swiss Miss? Can't find it on YouTube but I think they were on a bridge in the mountains.
Swiss Miss probably isn't what he is looking for because the angle is from above instead of below.
Laurel and Hardy copyright holders are very vigilant on youtube keeping even clips off.
It happens in a lot of silent comedy and early sound shorts, but I had no luck tying to find one on youtube.
I instantly thought of The Music Box, CaptainWaggett and, although it wasn't quite what I needed, I always enjoy revisiting it!
Thank you all for your responses (I knew this forum wouldn't let me down), and FilmBuff, I think that clip is excellent. Thanks for finding it for me.
Wasn't there a grand piano thrown off a peer/weir sequence in 'Not only but also' with Pete &Dud?
