The BFI are organising a retrospective of the work of Alfred Hitchcock, with some silents getting new live scores.

I'm going to The Pleasure Garden at Wilton's Musical Hall. Waiting for the rest to be announced (if the restorations get funded and finished in time ...!).

They've announced so they're nearly half-way through the silents... I do like the way they're unveiling them one at a time at different locations. I just hope they don't vanish again once they've been shown (as does sometimes happen with BFI restorations Originally Posted by didi-5

Well, a lot more than the BFI think given they've only counted one in The Lady Vanishes
