It is a real shame that this film does not get the credit it deserves.

Was that the one where a couple inherit a run down old cinema and with it Peter Sellers and Margaret Rutherford ? It was really funny as I remember it !

PS: Just checked on Amazon - it is the film I thought it was - but the price they are asking is expensive £49.99p !

Love it when they show the scene in the desert and turn up the heating in the cinema !

Whilst Margaret and Peter are getting all the plaudits for their performances, don't forget to watch out for Bernard Miles as Old Tom. It's an understated performance and, just like Peter, he's playing someone considerably older than he was at the time.

You might be able to get it much cheaper than that as one of the discs in a Peter Sellers boxset, that was how I got my copy.

Watch out for Liz Frazer briefly appearing as one of the cinema's patrons.

Thank you - I will check that out !

PS: Just looked - it is in one of the boxed sets - but even that is £30.00p - much as I enjoyed that particular film I am not such a great Peter Sellers fan. I will be patient and see if it turns up cheaper somewhere else - or maybe find a second hand copy.

A lovely film! I got mine for $5 on a dvd stall. It's individually wrapped but it does say it's part of the Peter Sellers collection. (A bootleg probably)!
