Just watched this today - strange but good !

Kirk Douglas and Johnny Cash as ageing and broke gunfighters who, despite becoming friends, decide to hop across the border into Mexico, rent a bull ring, and stage a gunfight for which they sell tickets - winner takes all !

Sounds like a mad idea - but it is a compelling film !

I think they filmed more than one ending.

    Not quite
      Spoiler:
Cash won but, as he is leaving town, he meets Douglas's wife and imagines how it would have been if Douglas had won - then rides off into the sunset ! So it looks a bit like two endings

Actually "A Gunfight" - brilliant film, loved it on first viewing and always keep an eye out for it, even though I've got the DVD! Great how the tension builds throughout and you find yourself warming to the pair of them in different ways...

Eric Douglas (Kirk's son) appears in the film as the son of Kirk's character.

I remember reading that a tribe of Apaches put up funding for the movie.

I have seen it billed as both - in fact - looking at my DVD box it it just titled "Gunfight" ! LOL - they just like to confuse us !

Yes, what starts out as an insane idea seems to be almost possible.

Eric Douglas (Kirk's son) appears in the film as the son of Kirk's character.

I didn't know either of those facts - thank you !
