he visits that posh car dealer for a job in mayfair doesnt he ?
it looks like that area still to me ?
in that bottom picture he looks like the 6th rolling stone doesnt he ?
a mix of brian jones and mick jagger
Does anyone know this location? It has a W1/SW1 feel to me and I thought he was leaning against the Crimea war memorial in Waterloo Place, but the street pattern doesn't fit.

The gradient suggests the Haymarket to me.
It is Waterloo Place, but the last picture is looking towards Trafalgar Square, along Pall Mall, rather than towards Piccadilly Circus. The gradient is either an exaggeration or a complete illusion, caused by the long lens.
Well I suppose that's a case of not seeing the forest for the trees, as far as I'm concerned! Many thanks, AlanF, for clearing my foggy vision.
And I will add that Robin Askwith seems to resemble Mick Jagger in some scenes and then resembles Brian Jones, it's sort of uncanny especially as Jones and Jagger did not look alike.
Do these views mean anything? The park scenes are shown as one location and that's a fountain between their heads in the second shot. Presumably Hyde Park, St James's Park or Green Park.
These two shots are one location for the camera pans down from the house to the street.

The square is the southwest corner of Eaton Square.

The Rolls Royce must have been owned by Walker? It has a Brighton registration, which is where he hailed from.
Many thanks to srhj.
The Park is indeed Saint James's very near Buckingham palace the road in the distance is Birdcage walk and the park bench is still there
