i attended philip madoc's memorial service at the actors church in covent gdn yesterday representing elstree studios and as i had known philip for 30 years.
the church was full although other than ruth madoc i did not notice any other actors.
the london welsh male voice choir were great and jimmy perry said a nice few words. felt sad to say 'goodbye' to an old friend
