Sorry - missed the point there. That clip isn't Tripper's Day is it? Hence the different title.

Tripper's IIRC was a triumph of Rossiter's talent over a weak script. With Brucie taking over it didn't have a chance.

..... or even the lamentable Keep It In The Family. A lot of the ITV sitcoms from that era a weak to say the least. Even John Mills got involved with one (ran three series) - Young At Heart.
