Remy,
You would need a list of contents, I think; do you have any of the Oscar Peterson TV programmes?
Hello,
I have a number of off-air tapes which instead of disposing of
at my local recycling centre would much rather they go to a good
home. They would be of interest mainly to lovers of documentaries
as this is where my main interest lies but there are plenty of dramas, films
and music related programmes thrown in too. The tapes, a lot of which
were recorded on to in the late 80s have many commercials and continuity
which would hopefully be of interest to someone. There are also many
non mainstream pre-recorded tapes, again with the emphasis being on documentaries
and some foreign films.
I have 8 banana boxes of tapes and I estimate there are approximately 200.
The tapes are on a first come first served basis and whoever wants them agrees
to take the lot as I can't afford the space anymore! I'm in North West London,
zone 2. If you're interested in taking them off my hands then do send me a PM
and we can arrange a date and time for you to collect.
Remy

Thanks for the tip Edward.
There are no Oscar Peterson programmes on these tapes but I have got a number
of them from BBC4 broadcasts over the past few years.
I've kept all my VHS tapes and I often wonder what sort of percentage of people who once collected precorded tapes and recorded a lot of stuff off-air have held on to them.
Remy,
Could you tell me which Oscar Peterson programmes you have recorded (onto DVD I assume) in recent years. I am a big Oscar fan and would love to trade you for any I do not already have.
Cannot PM you on this for some reason (maybe your account preferences are set "not to receive PM's")
Thanks,
Edward G.
Hi Edward. Here's a small list of the OP programmes I have:
In Concert - Oscar Peterson
Jazz 625: The Oscar Peterson Trio – 10/10/64

Hello there Remy: Do you have 'Madhouse On Castle Street' BBC 4 broadcast (Bob Dylan)?

Did you get my last emails, Remy?
I've held onto most of my VHS too. I intend to do so until they all perish....the adverts in my 1982 off air version of ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 alone are worth keeping.
Remy, if you have any tapes left, please PM me via: godofwiddly@hotmail.com
Thanks.
