    The site has been hacked go to blue banner bottom of page on left hand side select new style3 and all should be ok.

    Hi Everyone

    My name is Laura (could not see a Post New Thread?)

    My fave films are pre/post WWII B&W British films, especially comedy, although having said that - the film that I watch over and over again is 'Blade Runner', which I never tire of.

    Brilliant story, superb cinemaphotography and Vangelis make this to be my all time favourite.

    Closely followed by 'The Ladykillers' (the original of course!), 'Went the Day Well?' (love Mervyn Johns in whatever he's in) and 'Brief Encounter'.

    TV is primarily comedy (Simpson & Galton, Perry & Croft) followed a close second by documentaries.

    Radio is most definitely 'The Goon Show' and 'Hancock's Half Hour', both of which I never tire of listening to.
    Have many faves of The Goon Show, but as far as HHH is concerned it has to be 'Sunday Afternoon at Home', which sums up a drear Sunday afternoon in 50s Britain perfectly! How I remember them - Hummm, now I've given my age away!! Cest la vie.
