    Hi George!

Well you've joined the right site for Carry On and On The Buses, they are both frequently discussed on this forum.

I remember meeting actress Linda Regan last year, she told me she'd been in the first 'Bus' film, going on to the top deck dressed in a very short skirt...

I've been trying to find someone or a company that could help me with some inquiries if possible. I have a number of 35mm film footage of World War 2 as well as a feature film from 1969 called Recess and an English TV Show/Film called Rumour or Rumours in my possession. Was wondering if you would know any places that deal with such things. It's a long shot to ask but I've been asking around for the past few months with no real luck.

Hello everyone, my name is Kim. Like George I love carry on films, and mostly comedy films. Although My favourite film is Sweet Charity (the version with the happy ending).

Depends if you want financial recompense or not. Can't help with the former, if the latter, I'm sure the Imperial War Museum and the BFI would be very helpful ...

Hello all - this looks like a great place for an anglofile Danish female like me :)
I've always loved everything British - tv, films, litterature, poetry, the language, the people, the beer, the music etc etc... I've lived on and off in Leeds, Glasgow and Dublin (yeah, I know - but they still speak English. Sort off :)) and travelled all across both England, Ireland and Scotland several times.

I'm in my forties, live in Copenhagen - with a cat - and I'm sure I'm a perfect novice when it comes to British films compared to all of you - but I'm here to learn :)

I hope to meet a lot of like-minded people here - if I ever get my courage up to post anywhere else than here, that is! :)

See you - hugs from Gina :)

Hello everybody. I am Kevin in London and I like Hammer Horror, early 60's comedies (what a carve up, double bunk etc).
Some of my other favourites are The Hill, OHMSS, Billion Dollar Brain and Billy Liar. Looking forward to discussing on this great site.

Thank you so much Arfur and Mrs Emma :) I hope I'll get my courage up and post somewhere soon!

Mrs Emma - wow, did you really see all those? I'm stunned My personal Danish favourites are things like Lars von Trier's Breaking the Waves or Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive - but I suppose they're not really Danish as such, so thanks for naming some that are :)
And Arfur - thanks for playing down my "noviceness", but I didn't understand a word of what Tarapeel just wrote, sooo......

Hope to see you both and others very soon in the threads :)

I am a newbie from the US who found this site while looking for some films I remember seeing in middle school while growing up in the 1980s. I couldn't remember titles/etc but from seeing some of the screen captures on here have found some of the titles and am now looking forward to trying to figure out how to actually watch them again. I dont have a 16mm projector yet! ;-)
