I vaguely remember seeing this old British film on TV. The action mostly took place in a hotel and there were different interwoven stories I think. The standout part for me was there was a guest who had either a duck or a goose with him. He kept it in a cage in his hotel room. At one point in the film the duck / goose slips the catch and flies to freedom out of the window and late on we see the man in the restaurant about to eat duck when he begins to think and decides not to eat it. He was only one of the minor characters though and didn't appear in it too often.
Although I was v young at the time I found it quite upsetting and to this day have ever eaten duck or goose. I don't think it was very good I would love to know what the film was.
