Ive just been reading about the pretty actress Susan Peters who starred in Random Harvest with Greer Garson, she was left paralyzed when a gun she was loading went off hitting her in the spine, she never totally recovered and starved herself to death at the young age of 31, I was shocked to read this, as never knew what had happened to the lovely actress, its said she stole the film from the two main stars with her performance .

The year before he died, PC was knocked down by a car in Australia which led to his cause of death being incorrectly reported as a hit and run accident. He actually died from a brain tumour.

According to IMBD RN died from a heart attack.

he had fell off a roof like rodd ,he was still suffering from the injuries which is what was reckoned to have brought on the heart attack ,according to what i read about him at the time

Poor chap ... cheers davidb.



A similar thing happened to the US actor Christopher George. While filming the series The Rat Patrol his jeep over-turned and crushed his chest causing damage to his heart. A few years later he died from a massive heart attack as a direct result of that accident.



Robert Shaw's family suggested that his heart attack was caused by all the running he did in Black Sunday while unwell.
