This is not targetted at anyone here, honest !.
I have noticed how intollerant some Royalists can be. They seem to fall into one or more of the following groups:
1, Love all of the Royals.
2, Love the Queen.
3, Love the Queen and Prince Philip.
4, Love the Queen, hate Prince Philip.
5, Love the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince William, and The Duchess of Cambridge.
6,Love the Queen,Prince William and hate the rest.
7, Wish that Diana was Queen, despite the fact that she is dead.
What surprises me is the fact that Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge already seem to be like marmite to the Royalists, maybe they are jealous that William married her instead of one of them. I thought that being the son of Saint Diana, anything that William did would be fine and his wife would be protected but it is clearly not the case. If some of them are to be believed, Kate wears the wrong colour dress and it also appears that she only owns one pair of shoes, she gets on "Too Well" with Prince Harry (nudge, nudge) and her parents are gold diggers. Catherine's sister Pippa, is a bit of "a tart", keeps the wrong company and is very talented because she makes a "delicious bacon sandwich". In an ideal world, for a Royalist, Pippa would marry Harry. Then both loose cannons would be controlled.
Bacon sandwiches are by definition delicious. You cannot make a bad one.
Why is Harry a loose cannon? He's a ginger. They just don't know how to behave. Look at what the last Royal ginger got up to, the Duchess of Pork. I'd banish Harry to Ireland and make him king of the Irish. There are plenty of gingernuts over there.
Well I totally agree about Bacon sandwiches, but it is the fact that the ability to make one was regarded as a plus point that I noticed.
As for Prince Harry, there may be some dispute as to who his biological father is, but he seems to have many of the same personality traits as Prince Philip,King Edward VII and King Edward VII. Good luck to him !
I am not a Royalist but I enjoyed watching the celebrations that I was able to catch up with. All that pomp and circumstance, people smiling and looking happy, some beautiful music in St Pauls (especially the Diamond Choir) and some dodgy comedy and music at the concert. Sadly, all we have to look forward to for the next few weeks is Euro 2012.
ps - also agree about the impossibility of there being such a thing as a non-delicious bacon sandwich
Non Royal fans may also be interested in a programme on Channel 4 this evening, the Royal history of pop, Tommy Steele and Sheila Ferguson are amongst those interviewed, the Three Degrees used to be Prince Charles favourite group, though I think he secretly fancied Sheila Ferguson, who wouldn't, she's lovely...........
"Since the birth of rock'n'roll the royal family has had a love/hate relationship with pop music." Have they?!?
constitutes rigorous, objective scientific research! Why is Harry a loose cannon? He's a ginger. They just don't know how to behave. Look at what the last Royal ginger got up to, the Duchess of Pork. I'd banish Harry to Ireland and make him king of the Irish. There are plenty of gingernuts over there. "
(Anyway, that was Icetorch's 666th post. Maybe the devil got into him)
