    weary, three comments about your entry for THE AVENGERS and "Super Secret Cypher Snatch":

    The chap you have down as Peter Diamond as CGC Man is Paddy Ryan;
    The Unknown playing the Agent is Fred Haggerty and
    The Unknown playing CGC Man #2 is Arthur Howell.

    The recent entry for The Gorgon (1964) has a constable as "Unknown 7546-02". It is stuntman Fred Haggerty.

    Thank you Gerald! You'd think I would know him by know, but his name wouldn't come. . . Do you know any of the others in the mob or jury by chance?

    Best regards,

    Dave W.

    Apart from Jim Brady, who you've already clocked, the only other one I have down for the rabble is Smasher Hatton, Dave.

    Thanks for that--glad to know I got Jim Brady right (wasn't sure if it was him or Bill Brandon).

    For Carry On Loving (1970), unknown 3003-1 is good old Reg Thomason, while 3003-12 is the screen-credited Lauri Lupino Lane.

    I need to go through that thread and add entries to the site. Incidentally, in the latest Danger Man episode I screencapped, "Bury the Dead," Jim Brady can briefly be seen in the background while George Murcell tries to start a bar fight with Patrick McGoohan. Quite a few other familiar but unknown faces in this one. Cheers!

    The policeman in that episode is Martin Lyder.

    Dave, on the subject of Martin Lyder, that's him as the first waiter in "Position of Trust" from DANGER MAN, but I don't think that's Eugene Deckers as the croupier.

    Thank you for that. I will change the croupier to "unknown" now, as now that I've seen Deckers in other things I don't think it's him either. Now I know why that policeman looked familiar. . .

    Re Invasion Quartet - the German Officer in Bunker is Martin Lyder and French Bus Passenger 9557-31 is Ted Carroll. I know the Gent Attempting to Use Outhouse too, but his name eludes me for the moment.

    Thanks Gerald! Didn't see the post till now. Knew that bus passenger was familiar, and for some reason I can never get poor Martin. I thought the one drunk German on the bus (#37) was Victor Beaumont, and I swear the bespectacled band member is Robin Ray, but I can't tell for sure. Thanks again!!

    You're welcome, Dave. I thought of Victor Beaumont too, though I don't think the band member is Robin Ray. However, I've remembered now that the Gent Attempting to Use Outhouse is Sydney Arnold.

    Ah! Now I remember him from Top Secret! Those whiskers threw me off. Thanks again for all your help in eliminating the unknown (a very Quatermass phrase!)
