Thanks for that, I dont mind Wallander but they arent as good IMO as Waking the Dead, Midsomer, Silent Witness etc, maybe its his character i dont warm to
Branagh's Wallander can be found here.
It's in its infancy, but hopefully will get better with age, just like Blowup Then & Now.
Any questions and/or comments (critical or not) gratefully received.
Regards, Ian.

It is yeah, i really want to like them. I did enjoy them, just didnt love them
Beautifully acted, shot, good stories, i should love them
There is definitely something about the Swedish light. And the Red One HD camera system is a marvellous tool for cinematographers. Cheap(er) and quick to see results/rushes. Wish I had one...
Regards, Ian.
Arri have just announced a digital camera to try to take on Red. Starting price is $69,000, so start saving now.

IMHO Wallander is the best thing the BBC have produced in several years. Great stories, great acting, great production ... brilliant!
ps - I am looking forward to the final series of the Swedish version too, it starts on BBC4 on 27/11/10

Agree completely but the Swedish series has it for me, the highlight of the next 3 months TV viewing!
I presume you are referring to the second Swedish Wallander which starts this Saturday - 27/03/10 - hooray.

Great start to your web site, keep up the good work!
Nice start Ian.
I thought Branagh's acting in the last episode where his father dies was superb.

A great website, Ian.The setup and look are very professional. Good luck to you. I can't think of a better series to pay tribute to. Given all the slick crime series, Wallander's anti-hero and non-predictable plots are refreshing. Well-written, Branaugh's acting...all ingredients that keep me looking forward to every episode.

Very few actors can adapt to stage, screen and TV, but Kenneth Branagh is superb in all three mediums.
I wish he'd change his ringtone though!
