Crown Court

Just finished Vol 1 dvd. Takes me back to being off school ill. During the report at the start of some episodes a colour photo purporting to be Fulchester Crown Court is shown. In my opinion it looks like a swimming pool. If any pictures of counsel/defendants/witnesses are used they are at a much older building. If anyone has any idea where the main exterior shot was taken it would be greatly appreciated.

I too remember watching Crown Court when off school - and more recently on Legal/Red TV. Not sure about the location you have in mind but the intro to some episodes was filmed near the real Crown Courts in Manchester - a concrete building from the 1960s I think, and only a few minutes walk from Granada TV studios.
