Does anyone recognise this house which was used in the episode The Noble Art of Midsomer Murders from October last year.

The first photo is the front of the house. Forget the house: I'll take Camille Coduri instead

The second photo is a composite of the back of the house, as the camera panned across to the building on the left which was used as a boxing gym in the story.

Victorian Strollers, the society who provided a lot of the extras in Victorian costume, suggests that it might be in Beaconsfield. The have photos on 2010 PAGE 01 and these pictures

show the pillars at the back of the house, the building with the grey roof in the centre and the white building that was used as the gym.

Blimey. That was quick. Did you know it or did you start panning around the map of Beaconsfield until you found it?

Here's an aerial view of the finished house on Bing Bing Maps - driving and transit directions, routes, traffic conditions

You can get a quick idea from the size of the house, and therefore the sort of area it's likely to be in, within a reasonable radius - Beaconsfield was the only clue I had, and I found it in 5 minutes. Just across the road from Drummer's Yard, where Dirk Bogarde used to live.
