I wondered if anyone knows the location of the house that represented Seakings in The Box Of Delights (1984) where Devin Stanfield's character Kay Harker lived with his guardian Caroline Louisa (played by Carol Frazer), below is a screencap of the house that represented Seakings in The Box Of Delights, i would be very grateful if anyone could tell me the exact location of the house that represented Seakings in The Box Of Delights.

Hi - I've hear it's a private house in Shropshire and that it was used internally too. I'm a big Box of Delights fan - please let me know if you know of any other locations. I know where the Prince Ruperts Arms is (The Baliffs House, Bewdley) but would love to know where the 'Drop of Dew Inn' is.

Thank you DB7 and also thank you to the Facebook user (i am not a member of Facebook and never will be), it is good to know which building represented the Prince Rupert Arms in The Box Of Delights, what i have to do now is find which private house in Shropshire represented Seakings (where Kay Harker lived with his guardian Caroline Louisa in The Box Of Delights).

I have looked up many private and country houses in Shropshire via google and have been unable to find the house that represented Seakings in The Box Of Delights.

    Hi Billy,

I have tried to solve this location and the only reason is that you have asked for my help on the private messages. As I'm not active anymore with my location discoveries in BritMovie forum, I haven't seen this query till I receive your private message today (9 January 2012, 03:50 PM):
"There is a building i would like identified which nobody on Brit Movie has yet been able to identify, the building represented Seakings (home of Kay Harker) in The Box Of Delights, if you type in The Box Of Delights in the search engine on Brit Movie you will find the Thread i started, you might be able to identify the building that represented Seakings in The Box Of Delights."

I want to inform you that about couple of hours before I'm writing this text, I discovered the exact location of the house that represented "Seakings" in the TV Series The Box of Delights (1984).

The house is not in SHROPSHIRE, but in WORCESTERSHIRE!!!

    "Seakings" in reality is called:
    "Wassell Wood House"
    Habberley Road
    Bewdley
    Worcestershire
    DY12 1LD

GEOGRAPH: On the edge of Wassell Wood

    Very best wishes,
    Greg Mishevski
(doing all the location work from Macedonia).

Thank you very much Saint, and also thanks for the link, the house that represented Seakings in The Box Of Delights turned out to be not to far from some of the other filming location sites that were used for The Box Of Delights.
