I wondered that, too. Amazing building.
Have just watched the broacast of the Poirot mystery called "The Dream." Does anyone know the location of the "Farleys' Foods" factory shown in this episode?
I wondered that, too. Amazing building.
I've a vague feeling this may have been mentioned before, art-deco building isn't it?
Most of the buildings in the older Poirot episods are art deco. This is a really stunning art deco building, used as a factory in the show. It's gorgeous.
It's the former Hoover Factory on Western Avenue, with some matted-in towers, etc. Now a branch of Tesco.
It is indeed the old Hoover Building in Perivale. I have some pics on my location site - Poirot Locations - The Dream
ugly ugly ugly art deco architecture! great era but unfortunately the beginning of the fall in aesthetic architectural design IMO
