Marple: Murder At The Vicarage

Does anyone know the film location that passes for the St.Mary Mead village in the television episode 'Marple: Murder At The Vicarage' (2004)?

This is the series in which Miss Marple is played by Geraldine McEwan.

There are many beautiful locations used in the filming of the 'Marple' series but I cannot find information on any of the villages used.

I know it was in Oxfordshire as I contacted the producers on this series after they controversially identified St Mary Mead as being in Oxfordshire in one of the episodes. I was told they placed St Mary Mead in that county as that is where they filmed it!

i think the area is in hampshire,could be called bishop`s wallop definately in hampshire read this in a womens mag whilst at dentist,surely bbc could help it is on dvd r there any extras on them ? good luck

In the BBC series the village used for St Mary Mead was Nether Wallop in Hampshire.
