    Hello Forum,

I just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself.

For the past 20 years I've been researcher/editor/webmaster of "A Guide to Avengerland" - hopefully the most comprehensive guide to locations used during the fiming of British Filmed televison 'action series' of the '50s, '60s and early '70s.

We do have cross refernces to films shot at the same locations and are always happy to help others with simmilar interests.

You can find the site at

    content

although we a currently having a prolonged spring clean and not all the pages are currently available.

Pages that are certainly up and running are our "Location Spotting" pages where we list all the locations that are still unfound.

    Hi Tony,

    Nice to see you here.

As a regular contributor to the Avengerland site I'm more than happy to recommend it. I'm looking forward to the spring clean finishing and everything being back online. I think I've got a few more spots for you too Tony.

    cheers

    Jaz

    Hi Jaz,

Good to find you here - there has just been flood of newly found locations - so I'm looking forward to getting all the new photographs and 'spots' where they should be.

I'll have to check when I get home, but it's been moved back to August to fit in with the plans of special guest Brian Clemens. There is a possibilty of another special guest coming as well.

Do you go to the treasure hunt? We've probably met.

I've been twice, once in about '93 and again in '02. Unfortunately I have to work some weekends so it's not always a possibility for me. I searched for this year's one thinking it would be in June, but obviously couldn't find anything. I'd be interested in attending again if I'm not working.

    Ian,

Dead man's Treasure Hunt! Sounds interesting. Do many of the old Avengers crew attend?

Am I imagining things - when I was "forced" to see a bit of Emmerdale Farm recently whilst visiting mater, I saw someone who looked very like LT. I asked my mum and she didn't know who LT was, so I'm still none the wiser

We're still trying to identify a location from Who's Who?, John (but it was probably a second unit shot) so if you've still got any documentation from that one lying around let me know!

Yes it is LT in Emmerdale, along with good ol' Patrick Mower.

Hell she,s been in it for ages now ,Linda still displays her stunt skills when tossed off a balcony recently survived the 50ft drop with only a broken arm ,she did,nt do bad in the avengers with a broken leg but ohh it did itch.Arthur Askey once told me the worst one is a neck brace ,it itches like bugger because the hairs cannot be shaved or got to.Poor old Arthur...

You'll have to excuse this compulsive attitude of mine but:

she,s didn,t and the other odd hyphenation you use make your posts very difficult to read.

If you look on your keyboard you will see a button with " at the top and ' underneath it - she's and didn't use this symbol, not the comma!

And whilst I'm in this mood, there is no space before a comma, it follows immediately after the word.

    sorry, but it IS important....

    Punctuation not hyphenation!
