Looks very central - and those flagpoles must be distinctive.
Here is another Avengerland old-timer which you might be able to help with.

Yes very central, it looks like the bottom end of New Bond street, the set back building on the right could be the Polo Ralph Lauren shop site. Chances are that red letter box is still there as they are listed and the arrow on top is pointing to the Post Office nearby so another clue. Im out and about toady in W1 so I will keep a look out!
Oops - speaking with a Liverpool accent there !
This is certainly the right forum to get things found!
Agreed - although the post box has been moved. On the corner of Burlington Gardens. If anyone is passing there with a camera, an 'now' photograph would be appreciated.
As I'm away from the computer this weekend, I'll post up just one more unknown, a Central London appartment block.

This is slightly better image
That mansion block has a St John's Wood/Maida Vale feel about it. The design and height is typical of blocks in that area me thinks.![]()
Or then again it could be Pimlico/Victoria.....just to throw the net a bit wider!

This is Cranmer Court in Chelsea Green, Chelsea. Taking up a whole block with Sloane Avenue bordering it.
Well done! - the north/eastern open space of Cranmer Court - many thanks.
