An easy one from THE AVENGERS episode Stay Tuned? This season featured a lot of Hamsptead Heath and Primrose Hill.

If only this had come up a couple of days ago ... I finally made a trip over that way to find Tara King's place.

Not seen the episode but I'm a North Londoner.



If it's Hampstead then - this is a wild stab - it could be Bishops Avenue (which runs from East Finchley all the way up to Hampstead Heath), which is a similar narrow road but with big houses. It probably wasn't quite as vulgar nouveau-rich as it is now when they filmed it.



But you'd need an Avengers expert to verify as I'm only guessing.

Those semi-detached houses look familiar; not too large and quite close to the road. Have you tried Falloden Way, NW11?

It was actually under our noses in Shenley all the time, it's North Avenue at the junction with Queens Way as viewed from Black Lion Hill. Not too many changes although the gate posts have obviously gone, as has the chimney of the house on the left which, as you can see in the 2nd pic, has been extended.

Thanks Alan, I know how you feel - I must drive past there a dozen times a month but it was only this week that it clicked. I think the fact that the road no longer bisects the grassed area and the new road & houses to the right of the junction make it less recognisable.

Well spotted indeed! - I guess it used to be a bit of a boyracer's straight before they put the "roundabout" in

Another near miss - last year I was looking at the Hospital entrance on Radlett Lane as a possible!
