I think it might one that is now surrounded by a large housing development that went up in the early 80s. I had a girlfriend who lived in Marlow Bottom and I remember we used to drive to Bourne End quite often and that there was a crossroads as you came out of the village.

A bit of map reading and maths - looks like it might be at SU9151385551. That would make it what is now the junction of Bourne End Road and Cliveden Road - just NE of Cliveden Hotel, Berkshire.

Yep, just been checking an old map which has the B476 on it, and the junction by Cliveden fits the distances on the signposts. Don't think that particular area has changed recently.
