The Saint- on the South Coast?

Here is a saint location that has been hanging around far too long.



Other seaside locations from the same period include Great Yarmouth and Torquay.

That my friend is Gorey on the island of Jersey. castle is just out of view to the right. compare the piece of wall at the left hand side of the castle ruin and the row of shops/houses on the quay, from the three storey one onwards.

I could not ask for better confirmation of an identification.



I was tending towards the Channel Islands after scouring Devon and Cornwall and comming up blank.



It certainly looks like a charming spot to visit - but I guess it is all cell phone shops now.
