Boon series 3

Although not seen much of boon series 3 (more familiar with 1 and 2) I am interested to find the house they used with the yard at the side with the shed out the back where ken operated texas rangers from.



The house is somewhere in birmingham and the same house was used as Noddy and Kim`s house in the film I bought A vampire motorcycle.

I`m hoping someone might recognise this street, I believe boon series 3 was set in Smethwick but this street could be anywhere in the Birmingham area.







I have looked on google earth,Nothing looks familiar but to be honest it`s like trying to find a needle in a haystack .

The house is located in Bearwood - about half way down the left hand side of willow avenue. House is still there (I think)!!!

I have looked at willow avenue a few times on google earth thinking it was down there but the houses look as if they have bigger front gardens than the screengrab I posted.



Have you visited this location?



p.s I think I have found some more vampire motorcycle locations while searching google earth.

I have passed the location many times- I will check out on my way to work on Monday and confirm exactly where it is. I remember when they filmed Series 3 they wanted a house that backed onto Hadley Sports Stadium where they had all the trucks etc.

Hi Bobster,

I think I have found it on google earth, It looks like It's actually on Dorset road which runs off the top of Willow ave and poplar ave. I couldnt quite place it because it appears that some of the houses a bit further up the road have been demolished and I think there used to be houses directly behind the house.

Hi - went down last night . House is on the junction of Willow Avenue and Dorset Rd- Number 1!

Currently the house is "to let".



Looks much the same except its been painted

Had a trip up to Bearwood at the weekend and took some shots of the house and street as it is today,











It looks like the house has been converted to flats with that door in the side and the staircase but other than that it's not changed that much, Just a few too many cars in the way to get some good shots.
