I hope this is ok to start a new thread on this particular episode. It was one of my favourites and during the summer of 1982 myself and a few freinds would drive off from our home town of Benfleet and head towards the Maidenhead, Marlow area of Berkshire. Anyway for those of you familiar with this episode, this is the boatyard used in the episode where Bodie leaves his car whilst going on a boat trip with Julia, (Gabrielle Drake). I spent a further few years tracking down locations from this episode and only after submitting some of my pics to the professionals website did I find the actual house used as a vicarage. These 3 pics show Bushnells boat yard at Ray Mead Road, Maidenhead in June 1982. Unfortunately if you went back there now there are new apartments on the site. I went back there in 1997 on my motorbike and was very sad to see the change.

Great pictures Arriflex ! How often do you see any of those cars on the roads these days ? Or even at classic car shows ? A lost generation of automotive history.

If they were that great then everyone would be driving them every day. Most of them were rust buckets which kept breaking down

Wasn't saying they were particularly great ! But can't say they were any worse than those made ten or twenty years earlier - which seem to have survived in greater numbers.

    That was a great episode!!

Considering they're all thirty or more years old, the cars look in exceptional condition
