This could be in Little Venice. This is the last location from THE AVENGERS episode Take Me to Your Leader we have yet to find.

I thought I'd bump this one up, after Marioki referenced it on another thread.

I get a Primrose Hill area vibe from this. I can't imagine that it's been changed that much, but I guess it could have been knocked down. They were still destroying
beautiful streets in London in the 60s.

I think I might have found it.

I think this was number 11 Regent's Park Road.

I think this one and the one next door were knocked down and replaced by this modern block which is now numbered 10 Regent's Park Rd. It's next door to number 12.

The only thing remaining is the tree which fits pretty well into the picture.

    What do you think?

From the Old-Maps site it looks like one large house stood in the spot, joined to the terrace on the left, but with a clear gap to the right - the house next door (number 8) would have to be the house we can see to right on the picture. With the damned scaffolding on Street View I can't tell.

Oh, no...number 11 is across the street.

    So, bang goes that theory.

    The search goes on.

A lot of the houses round there seem to have been replaced by very 70s looking blocks of flats. I get a strong feeling the house has been demolished, but that it was round there.

I seem to remember reading that number 11 was mentioned in the script for this episode so it doesn't necessarily mean the location was actually a real number 11. What has always struck me about this location is that there are no steps up to the front door which is quite unusual for a house of this size. I notice that some of the houses in Regents Park Road have the front door at ground level, as well as a couple on Hamilton Terrace, but for the most part they have steps leading up to the door.

Your completely right Geoff. The shooting script specified number 11 making me think that numbers seen in the actual episode were props.

The script described the location as "Town Street" which unfortunately is no help either.

Sorry Geoff, I have nothing on this unknown location.

Aeeing as a lot of footage was done in London, W9, for this episode, all I can suggest is for location spotters to start their search there.

Unfortunately, I think we can rule out number 10 as a candidate after a visit today. Number 8 bears little resemblance to the house to the right of 'number 11' in the first picture.

No revelations - but I did find this back-door method for getting detailed current OS maps including house numbers:
