I've a strong feeling the tower block is where Mark Lewis' character in Peeping Town is standing at the entrance, there is a School opposite not seen in the photo but to the right.

I don't think so, they're a bit fancier.









In Peeping Tom, Mark is standing at the base of those flats, looking across Claremont Road to Whitefield School - which is pretending to be the library where Helen works

The other side is the school, which is a single storey building. It actually seems to be called Mapledown school now.

There's some similar looking flats not far up the road in the town of Edgware, the Spur Road estate which includes roads called Orchard Drive and Kings Drive which may be worth an investigation.......
