Talking Lucky Jim
Another Brit Film masterpiece that enjoys Ian Carmichael's superb characterisation of Jim Dixon, the hapless history lecturer at a provincial English university. Needless to say, Jim Dixon gets his gal, and the the film ends on a wonderfully high note with all and sundry chasing Jim through, I assume, the Buckinghamshire countryside, as he makes for the station to renezvous with his chick. Subtle, but amusing for me, was Jean Anderson bombing along on a bicycle fitted with a BSA 50cc Winged Wheel - an early precursor to the moped.

I wonder what happened to the beautiful Sharon Acker? Her career came to a

halt in the early 70's!
