Aye

Ghost written I think but very good read. Out of print but a library should find it for you.

Angel Face : The Making of a Criminal
Walter Probyn
ISBN: 0049230719
Publisher: George Allen & Unwin, London
Publication Date: 1977

There are a few copies available on Abe Books

Enjoy

Cheers for that - i'll have to track it down.
Just lookwed on e-bay for a copy ,hadnt got one but in the completed listings a HB copy just sold for 99p !
From what iv read elsewhere Wally was quite the oppisite to the 'Cheeky Cockney' that Adam Faiths character played.
As it goes iv just finished reading Adams Faiths book 'Act of Faith' on me holiday! There was little mention of 'Mcvicar' the only thing I thought was intresting was that Adam was living in Barbados at the time of making 'Mcvicar' and had to stay in the shade for weeks on end !

Wally was a pro. He wasn't interested in being a name. He just went to work

There are about four sellers on Abe Books; I checked Fleabay for you before I replied.

Hope you find one
